Subsidies, duty relief and performance grants for manufacturing MSMEs, set by taluka group

Maharashtra Industries, Investment and Services Policy 2025

01 · What it is

The Industries, Energy, Labour and Mining Department's Government Resolution of 31 December 2025, which follows the Cabinet's approval of 11 December 2025, approves this policy for five years or until a new policy comes in. We read the English text attached to it on the department's site. How much an MSME gets depends on its taluka group (A, B, C, D, D+ or a special area). The resolution says the incentives will be paid through a revised Collective Incentive Scheme, and we did not find that scheme on the department's policy page, so confirm how claims are processed before you apply.

04 · What may be required

  • A unit in a taluka or area group listed in the policy's annexure, which decides your ceiling and period
  • Incentives from all state departments together stay within 100 per cent of fixed capital investment, with exceptions
  • Several items have their own conditions, such as export share, jobs per ₹1 crore invested, or ownership by women, SC, ST or persons with disabilities
